Watch this CV-22 Osprey taking fuel from MC-130J Commando II at night.

Taken on Apr. 28, 2015 during Exercise Emerald Warrior 2015, the following footage features an MC-130J Commando II crew from the 9th Special Operations Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base, conducting a tiltrotor air-to-air refueling mission.

This clip is interesting because not only gives you the chance to see the air-to-air refueling through the Night Vision Goggles (NVG) of the MC-130J loadmasters, but it also lets you hear the communications between the tanker and the receiver.

Emerald Warrior is the U.S. Department of Defense’s only irregular warfare exercise, allowing joint and combined partners to train together and prepare for real world contingency operations.
