Two B-2 stealth bombers have arrived to RAF Fairford where they will remain for a short-term deployment. Here are some more images.
As already reported, on Jun. 8 two B-2 Spirit bombers with the 509th Bomb Wing have deployed to the UK, where they have joined three B-52s, for a “short-term deployment.”
The first aircraft “Spirit Of Indiana”, using callsign “Death 11” performed two low approaches before landing on runway 27; “Spirit of Louisiana,” flying as “Death 12” was straight into land.
Here you can find some more images of the two stealth bombers.

Hi David
I don’t often post more or less the same thing as yourself but on this occasion I’ve made an exception!.. incidentally the best pic I’ve seen (and reproduced with permission) was taken on an iPad…

Does anybody have pictures of the B-2 deployment to RAF Fairford in Aug ’10?
Do they always go by death? Because that is cool.
Should have read “Darth”
‘Don’t play games with me, Putin. You aren’t on any mercy mission this time! (deep breathing).
……. and honest!
cool hangar queens.
Hangar queens? What?
How are they hangar queens? They’ve flown combat sorties in every conflict since they became operational. They also frequently do training missions like this. Flying round trip bombing missions to the Middle East and trans atlantic flights for training sorties is pretty much the exact opposite of hangar queen.
They also drop conventional ordnance.
