This video allegedly shows a Hezbollah killer drone incinerate Al Qaeda militants in Lebanon

It looks like Hezbollah is using its weaponized drones to attack Al Qaeda targets in Lebanon.

Not only Hamas operates armed UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) like the one flown over Gaza some weeks ago. Even Lebanon-based Hezbollah is employing its weaponized drones to bomb enemy positions in Lebanon, near the Syrian border.

Hezbollah has already launched remotely piloted vehicles over Israel in the past, some of those have been intercepted and shot down by the Israeli Air Force, however, this is the first time the terrorist group use their UAV to perform an air strike on enemy targets.

The first attack struck the al-Qaeda affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) positions near Arsal, close to the border with Syria.

The video below purportedly shows the attack of the Hezbollah drone.

It is impossible to determine the type of UAV used to conduct the air strike; even if it appears to be a quite simple drone (at least based on the symbology of the onboard camera which filmed video released by the group), it’s probably armed (provided it really fired the missile) and possibly accurate enough to target and strike individuals on the ground.

H/T to Matt Fanning and Guido Olimpio for the link to the video

  1. Calling Hezbollah a terrorist group shows the US government bias of this site which in turn makes their information less credible.

      • In the modern lexicon, “terrorism” and “terrorist” are political terms without factual content. You assert Hezbollah is a “terrorist group” merely because you disagree with their politics. But, of course, you are a well known supporter for the foreign policy of the U.S. Government as well as absolutely anything which Israel does (I have been reading your comments in various publications for awhile, now).

  2. Their primary tactic is firing unguided rockets and hoping they land in cities and towns.

    AKA: Terrorism

    • So, by your definition, let’s see who is a ‘terrorist’: any member of any artillery unit in any military is a terrorist because every artillery shell is ‘unguided’. A ballistic trajectory is not guidance. So the government of Ukraine is terrorist for using artillery to shell residential neighborhoods in Donetsk. The Israeli government is terrorist for using artillery against the residents of Gaza. The USA government is terrorist for using artillery and unguided bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think your definition of terrorism just reared back and bit you on the butt.

  3. No way, I bet the drone was a Shahed-129 attack drone, and Hezbollah is a terrorist group like Sunni groups and countries, like the Islamic regime in Iran and the Zionist regime in Israel!
