An interesting cockpit video shows what it’s like to fly an A-10 during a Sandy mission

Join this Hog pilot while he is performing air cover for a CSAR sortie.

Here’s an interesting footage filmed from inside the cockpit of an A-10.

It shows the pilot’s perspective while the Warthog is providing air support for a CSAR (combat search and rescue) training mission.

In fact, not only does the “Hog” performs CAS (Close Air Support) missions; it also perfectly fits the Sandy role where an aircraft is tasked to support a CSAR sortie to recover an ejected pilot behind the enemy lines.
