The following video contains footage recorded during VFA-102 “Diamondbacks” 2012 cruise aboard USS George Washington.

It includes blue-water ops on and around the aircraft carrier, low level flying in Japan, live firing activity, air combat training with other Super Hornets, and with Royal Malaysian Air Force Mig-29Ns with some interesting HUD footage as well as images from the memorial service held aboard the George Washington at sea, for Seaman Rafael Martinez, a VFA-102 airman who died after falling overboard on Jul. 14, 2012 while the ship was anchored in Hong Kong Harbor.
