An interesting footage of a U.S. Marine Corps Hornet launching for a night strike in support of Operation Inherent Resolve missions.

Taken on Jul. 15, 2015 the following clip shows a U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force—Crisis Response—Central Command, preparing and launching for a night strike mission in Southwest Asia.

The video is interesting because it lets you join a USMC F/A-18 pilot performing the walk around of his jet just before starting up his aircraft engines, taxing out and taking off alongside other Marines “Legacy” Hornets in the darkness of the night.
