The following pictures were taken by “Gator46” who flew with the 155° Gruppo in both the 6° and 50° Stormo. This page represent an interesting, never seen before, gallery which recalls the story of the Tornado IDS in the 155° Gruppo, from the period in which the “Panthers” (from Pante, the Sqn’s radio callsign) flew in the air-to-ground role from Ghedi airbase, to the involvement in Desert Storm (the first conflict since WWII for the ItAF), to the early period of the new SEAD role from Piacenza airbase, flown with the IDS-HARM variant of the Tornado until the arrival of the first Tornado ECR.
