Ciao David,

Nello specifico l’amico Riccardo Vestuto mi suggerisce:

Ciao
David

alleged footage of the drone landing , released by an unofficial iranian media outlet:

What do you think David? is it the real deal?

David Cenciotti - December 11, 2011

I’ve just posted it here:
http://cencio4.wordpress.com/2011/12/11/propaganda/
In my opinion that is not an RQ-170.
Question is: what drone is that?

Jeff - December 11, 2011

is that footage even taken in Iran?

Questions…. questions….

Observations re RQ107: The gym floor is concrete, painted for basketball, highly waxed or sealed. Note the reflection of the large door assembly in the lower section of the large banner directly behind the plane, indicating a door system opposite the plane. Note the breath vapor coming out of the subjects while talking/walking around the plane as seen in the available video clips floating around.. Does a cool temperature indicate anything?

Have a look at this video :

David Cenciotti - December 14, 2011

Interesting. Maybe everyone has understimated Iran capability to induce a lost-link event on the U.S. stealthy drone. However there’s still something unclear: if they were able to jam the satellite link and induce a lost-link situation, the drone was supposed to go in autopilot mode to the preplanned waypoint until link was re-established (or fuel finished). I assume the waypoint was inside Afghanistan airspace, not Iranian. Why did the drone crash in Iran?

I know what happened to the F-15 in Libya… I can’t disclose it but it’s far from the official version and the word “idiotic” is more appropriate in this context than “catastrophic”…

There’s been some recent unrest in the Sabha region of Libya. Apparently it’s bad enough that the new Libyan Air Force has been involved. The video below shows a Libyan Air Force fighter flying over Sabha. I think it’s a Mig-21, but based on the quality of the vid can’t be 100% sure. Any thoughts?

David Cenciotti - April 2, 2012

Yes, it looks like a Mig-21 even if it’s hard to say. It could also be a Mig-23….

91. Maurits - April 14, 2012

Hi David can you please ID this Iranian drone?

David Cenciotti - April 14, 2012

Saw the image, rhe drone seems to be a sort of improved Mohajer.
Have you got some more info? When was it taken? Can you gimme the link to the original news to try to get more info?
