F-35 high angle of attack tests reach 50-degree limit November 20, 2012

A conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) F-35A Lightning II aircraft reached a 50 degree limit on its high angle of attack (AOA) test flight conducted from Edwards Air Force Base.

F-35A test aircraft are limited to AOAs of 20 degrees until their controllability is proven at a higher AOA limit of 50 degrees.

Please fix the display of the articles for Ipad users. Right now when we click on an article it pops un but is completely see through still showing the solid home page screen. Reading the article is impossible.

Are we sure are not 15 deg? From the video it doesn’t look 50!
